Finding the perfect tour guide can be soooooooo exhausting! I love to travel but dread the planning process especially when it comes to finding the best tour guide, itinerary and price point that fits me. However, once I find the perfect tour guide I cannot stop talking about how amazing my experience was with them.
Egypt: Luxor For You
I traveled solo to Egypt in the summer of 2016 and it is one of my favorite trips to date. Cairo, Aswan and Luxor are beyond gorgeous, from the ancient architecture, the serene desert and luscious greenery. Egypt offers many activities to do and you can spend anywhere from 2days to several weeks there. When choosing your tour guide for Egypt, you want someone who is local, very knowledgeable in the history of Egypt, has reliable transportation and great prices.
When planning my trip to Egypt, I first got in contact with one of the bigger more well known tour companies in Egypt, I was quickly given the perfect itinerary, but a price that was wayyyy over budget and just plain ol expensive for Egypt. I took that same itinerary to Luxor For You and Ahmed cut the price in half. I immediately booked Luxor for you and headed to Egypt to have the time of my life! Ahmed handle all my excursions and transportation, including a 3 day cruise on the Nile River, visits to several ancient Egypt temples and a Hot Air Balloon Ride. During my trip to Egypt I became great friends with 2 of my tour guides, Abdullah and Mahmoud. They both offered me such amazing service and kept me extremely safe during my stay in Egypt.
I felt EXTREMELY safe in Egypt as a solo female travel and would go back again!

Tanzania: Cool of Africa Tour -Khalifa Silma
Let me start off by saying how much I love Zanzibar, Tanzania!!! It was my first ever solo trip ever and my wonderful introduction to the continent of Africa. Tanzania holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite African countries and tropical oasis to get away to. The peace I felt when I traveled to Zanzibar was something I’ve never felt before. I enjoyed the crystal clear waters, the fresh seafood, gorgeous locals and the fact Zanzibar is not too crowded/ touristy.

I was recommended Khalifa through a colleague and he turned out to be one of my favorite tour guides to date. He’s very knowledgeable, but has extremely cheap prices and is willing to bargain with you for a good deal! He is a local up and coming guide that is trying to build his clientele and establish himself as one the most used tour guide in Zanzibar! I always strongly recommend small black owned business when traveling, especially tour guides. Zanzibar Island is a place you can chill by the beach, read a book and enjoy the sounds of the Indian Ocean. You can also go on many adventures including swimming with turtles, snorkeling and spice garden tours.

INDIA- ecstatic india Tours
India is a place I could never forget! The food, the culture, the history and people are sooo unique to India, that it’s a country that’s one of a kind. When choosing a tour guide for India, I did the same method as Egypt where I went to a well known company who offered unreasonable prices but a well curated itinerary. I presented the same itinerary to Pushpendra at Ecstatic India Tours and he cut the price in half and also offered 4-5 star hotels for excellent rates. Our personal driver throughout our whole trip around the Golden Triangle Cities (New Delhi, Agra and Jupir) was Ashrok. Ashrok is such a gentlemen, He’s very quiet but he took great care of us! Our tour included visits to sites like the Taj Mahal, Amber fort, Haha Mahal, the Red Fort and so much more.

I became friends with a range of people from a 16 yr old girl from Colorado to being roommates with a wonderful woman from Peru that I used google translate to communicate with.

New Friends
I went on the 14 day-6 country European Classic tour. The tour started in Amsterdam headed to Paris, The Swiss Alps, Tuscany, Venice, Rome, Vatican City, Munich and Berlin. My favorite highlights from the tour included playing in the snow at the top of Mount Titlis, Swiss Alps, Vatican City and the boat cruise in Paris.
